Hello Lovelies!

I have started a dance program where I provide free dance classes to women and teens who have been assaulted or have a history of abuse. I wanted to create a SAFE environment for these women and teens to feel like they can express themselves. This space is for them to heal. To find that they can once again own their bodies. To know it is okay to feel dissociated or depressed or out of place. That all these feelings are accepted in this space for us to dance in. That we will HEAL together by being able to find confidence and joy through exercise and dance. I am currently going to quite a few places. Some examples are: Synergy and Hope House. I love being able to come to them with workout clothes, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, socks, shoes, water, Gatorade, and snacks so they have all they need to be able to get a healthy and happy workout on. Please note that most of these individuals do not have these items because they had to flee from their homes to a safe place. I personally, know how that feels. That is why I wanted to provide this for others. I am certified as a dance instructor, I provide insurance for them if they get injured, and I try to get donations to purchase clothing or have clothing donated to me to hand out to these individuals.

This all takes time and money. I work full time, I am going to grad school and I am trying to run this program by myself. A girl needs some help! If you can find it in your heart to become a patreon and support this program, I know I would greatly appreciate but so would these teens and women. Also, I can't take pictures with these individuals, nor can I share their names for safety reasons, but if you have any ideas how to share happy moments without putting anyone at risk PLEASE let me know.
