I run and host Adland.tv which is the worlds largest commercial archive. Here I keep a historical record of ads running worldwide, for free for the viewers, and it is not advertising supported. Having a "waybackmachine" for ads, with a specific focus on Super Bowl ads and award-winning work, is costly in both storage, bandwidth and my time. I am constantly improving the tags, the search, and the ways researchers and students can use the ads, with permission from the original copyright owners. The major cost of the archive is the storage and bandwidth.
