Why donate

I've made Hello, Goodbye free, open source and without analytics, but developing it still carries recurring fees and a time investment. Your donation offsets these costs and potentially makes it possible for me to expand the feature set of the extension. Your donation will also help make more time for maintaining and supporting the extension.

Which new features could be developed

The main feature I am thinking about is not only dismissing cookie banners and other annoyances, but also choosing only "essential cookies". Other extensions that hide cookie banners for you exist, but they partially just take the quickest way to dismiss the banner, and not the most privacy-friendly. Developing this feature would cost much more time than blocking live chat widgets, which are mostly just scripts being loaded. I would also love to publish a mobile Safari extension, to block widgets where they are the most annoying, blocking a good part of the screen.
