Hypernova Oy (Ltd) is a Finnish Information Systems company. Our mission is to advance freedom and transparency of our society with Free and Open Source Software and Hardware. Anyone has the right to use, modify and share freely licensed software and hardware. Free Software communities share skills and knowledge for the benefit of all. It promotes a transparent society, because unlike with proprietary systems, anyone has a freedom and an opportunity to study the underlying mechanisms of the systems they use.
Transparency is especially important when services are funded by tax payers. This is why we are mainly focusing on public sector. Our current focus is on library software and hardware. We
