Hey, I'm nferhat! I like developing tools for the Linux Desktop stack, targeting specifically Wayland. Let that be by making my own compositor and contributing to the open-source ecosystem around it!

Most of my projects stem from the fact I like to make my own tools, often recreations of something that didn't work quite for me, or by pure curiosity, wanting to know how something is done, learn a new ecosystem, or just to challenge myself into becoming a better developer. As stated above, I'm currently well into making a Wayland desktop environment.

Being a NixOS user, I maintain my own set of heavily overengineered dotfiles, which includes my own set of derivations for various packages.

Outside of this, I like writing software as a member of MicroClub's development department, and enjoy teaching people the arts of Rust and Linux, easing their introduction into this huge endless rabbit hole.
