I am currently the Director of Emerging Technologies for Libraries & Cultural Resources at the University of Calgary, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Previously at the UofC: Research Librarian for Data Analytics (2016-2024), Public Services Systems Librarian (aka webmaster) (2007-2016), Distance Education Librarian (2001–2007).

I blog on topics of interest to me, but usually about technology and how it relates to academic libraries. Artificial Intelligence is the topic that takes up most time these days. I blog for me, but also to share stuff I think others will find interesting or important.
